Coonhound - Susie - Large - Adult - Female - Dog
Suzie is a Coon hound mix, 3 to 4 years old. She loves to play in ARC's fenced area and go for long walks with the volunteers she has gotten to know and trust. She enjoys her training sessions and learns quickly. She currently will offer a sit as you approach her lodge and wait for a treat. She is learning to wait before going though a doorway, sit when asked and walk nice on a leash. She seems to have a difficult time warming up to new people. Therefore, she would do best in a home that is willing to spend extra time earning her trust before taking her to the new home. She is very affection once she bonds. She enjoys car rides, belly rubs and to be brushed. Bring a hot dog treat and start getting to know this beauty. She has a lot to offer the right family.
